The law of attraction is one of the most important methods for success and has been used for thousands of years. Many millionaires used this method to reach their goals. In fact, there is a good chance that you accidentally applied this method successfully yourself. Take a second and think about a time where you wanted or needed something, and the situation conveniently worked out in your favor because of outside forces. For example, you lost your job, and a job opportunity unexpectedly comes your way. Your car stops working in an isolated area and you happen to see someone driving that can give you a ride. There are thousands of examples of miracles like these happening.

You might be wondering, what is the law of attraction? The basis of the law of attraction is that similar things attract each other. The thoughts and energy that you put out will come back to you by manifesting itself into a reality. For example, if you believe you will pass your test, then you will pass your test. You believe you will be able to raise enough money to purchase the car that you want in six months, and you will accomplish that. So basically, you focus on your thoughts, and they become reality.
The law of attraction is applied in many ways. For example, some people apply the law of attraction through religion by praying to a deity or god for something that they want or need, meditate, wish upon a star, or even cast spells. Each of them is focusing on a thought with the goal of the thought manifesting itself into a reality. There isn’t one method that is better than the other because each method works for different people. Here are some ways that you can use the law of attraction to accomplish goals in your life.
Starting your day with positive thoughts
They say that the moment that you wake up affects the rest of your day. This quote is true because the universe is based on cause and effect. Even though it is possible to stop thinking consciously, your subconscious is still active. This means that it isn’t possible for a living person to stop the thought process completely. If you have an empty cup, would you choose to fill it with dirty water or clean water? Similar to how you want to fill the glass with clean water, you should strive to fill your conscious and subconscious with positive thoughts.
Some people say that they struggle to think positively because so many negative events are happening in their life. While it is difficult to avoid falling into the frequency of energy around you, it is possible to continue vibrating at your own frequency. For every terrible situation, there is a positive aspect if you look at the right angle. For example, if you get fired or laid off from your job, be thankful that you have the ability to search for another job. Unfortunately, some people become injured or disabled and can’t work. If you continue to pursue your goal eventually, you’ll most likely find another job.
Thinking positively is the most important step in utilizing the law of attraction. If you want to attract something to your life, you have to vibrate at the same frequency as whatever you are trying to attract. You can do this by believing that you can accomplish the goal. This is usually the most difficult step of utilizing the law of attraction, but if you accept the good, then you have to accept the bad that comes with it. According to the law of attraction, you receive what you put out into the universe through your thoughts. This means that if something bad happens to you, then it happened because you either consciously or subconsciously put that thought out into the universe. For example, let’s imagine that you bought a new car that cost tens of thousands of dollars. Every time you drive the car, you fear the chance that you may get into a wreck and ruin the vehicle. Unfortunately, you eventually get into a wreck.
This is the negative effect of the law of attraction. Since the thought of wrecking the car was a thought that filled a lot of space in your mind, you accidentally used the law of attraction. Not only did you allow the thought to affect you physically by letting it make you anxious every time that you drive, which increases your chance of getting into an accident, but you put that thought into the universe. This might be a hard pill to swallow, but if you’ve ever been in a situation like this, the only thing that you can do is accept that you made a mistake and hold yourself accountable. When things go wrong, many people often blame everyone or everything other than themselves. If you want to begin the healing process, you have to accept that you are to blame and begin thinking of ways to make sure that you don’t make the same mistake.
How do you solve this problem? Some people say that to solve this problem you should stop thinking about the thought that is giving you anxiety, however, this usually never works. The reason is that the mind is like an empty glass that has to be filled with something. If you try to remove a thought with nothing to replace it with, you will find that it will eventually slide back into your mind. Have you ever told yourself to stop thinking of something that is making you anxious, but you can’t seem to get your mind off of the topic? The reason that this thought won’t leave your mind is because it can’t be removed, it has to be replaced.
Get into the habit of seeing the positive side of every situation that you go through. Everything in the universe can be looked at from a different angle and thoughts are no different. No matter how bad the situation is, try to find the positive aspect of it and focus on that. For example, if you fear crashing your car, convince yourself that you are a skilled driver. Start with driving on back roads and roads in neighborhoods with low traffic and bring a friend or family member if it keeps you calm. Once you are confident driving in that area, work your way up to roads with more traffic. Eventually, you will be confident in your ability to drive. You won’t worry about crashing anymore because that thought was replaced by your confidence in your ability to drive.
Making a plan to achieve your goal
This is an important step because making a plan gives you a sense of direction. If you have a goal, it is a wise choice to make a plan, so that you will have somewhere to start. For example, if you want to start a business, you should develop a business plan. If you want to get a high score on your next test, then you should develop a study plan. If there is a certain job that you want, you should plan out what you will wear for your interview and answers to common interview questions.
Plans rarely work exactly how people expect them to. However, you should still plan out how you will reach your goals. Planning is good for the law of attraction because while you are planning or putting your plan into practice, the goal that you want to reach is on your mind. That means that you are putting the thoughts of reaching your goals out into the universe by default. Don’t worry if your plan doesn’t work out like you expected it to because you can always change your plan later. Plans aren’t meant to be set in stone, but they are designed to give you a sense of direction.
